Hahaha. That's Awesome!

We wanted a solid 12-13th forward since Berube didn't trust Fabbri... now we have about 6 13th forwards on the roster lol.

But you're also the defending cup champs...so not too much sympathy from this wings fan.

Our #1 Defenseman would be just a good prospect on 90% of NHL teams...it's brutal

Larkin, Mantha and Bertuzzi are seen as the young leadership core. It will take a huge over payment to move them. Especially Larkin. Fabbri's not really in that group, maybe he could be, but time will tell.

I wouldn't be looking to move Fabbri but not as opposed to it as Larkin, Mantha or Bert....if the right pieces came along. That's all.

I get that but my point is Fabbri is the same age as Larkin so fits in age wise with this core and really even if his value has risen, how much? Like a 2nd round pick? Detroit desperately needs to start turning the corner from rebuild to competitive and Fabbri will help them be competitive whereas a 2nd will be years away from contributing if the pick even pans out.

Markstrom is 29 and Baertschi is 27....Detroit is looking to rebuild. Not get older and crappier. Try again

lol if you think Markstrom makes your team crappier, you clearly don't know how bad VAN was last season and 2 seasons ago... and you don't know how back your situation is between the pipes. that guy carried us. he will carry your team for 2-3 years while you draft/develop a prospect goalie.

You missed where I said he was 29...Detroit isn't trading for 29 year old who'll be on the decline soon. If they want a 29 year old goaltender, there's always going to be one available in the summer. I don't think Vancouver has anything Detroit would be interested in that they'd be willing to relinquish.

A 2nd isn't the "right piece". If that's all that teams would offer then Detroit keeps Fabbri, plain and simple.
