Little isn’t coming back to 2c lol, we’re most likely looking at Wheeler at 2c heading forward, or even roslovic taking that spot. Also samberg and Stanley both will fight for a spot.

My full lineup would look like this:

Connor-Scheif-Laine
Ehlers-Wheeler-Roslovic
Perreault-Little-Harkins
Copp-Lowry-Appleton

Morrissey-Pionk
Niku-Hamonic
Stanley/Samberg-Poolman

I like leaving Wheeler at 2C but do you really think Maurice does it? That my only concern that when Little is healthy, he moves Wheeler back to the wing. I wouldn't mind seeing a Copp - Lowry - Little third line, moving Little to the wing, leaving Perreault - Harkins - Appleton as the other line.

I think Stanley would have the inside track with Samberg playing majority of the year in the AHL and getting top minutes, not a bad choice development wise in my opinion.

Maurice said himself that wheeler at 2c long term is a possibility. So I wouldn’t count that out. In regards to samberg and Stanley, I would also agree that Stanley has the inside track. It would definitely be beneficial for samberg to get a full year in the AHL. But I have a feeling that he only signs if he has a spot on the NHL roster.

Oh i never heard that, that's good new then lol! I am all for Wheeler at 2C. I do think the Samberg situation could get tricky unfortunately, hopefully he's ready and actually earns the spot.

I hope that Heinola continues to push for attention and that Vesalainen finds his game and moves back into the mix. My ideal 2020-21 lineup would be:

Connor-Scheifele-Laine
Ehlers-Wheeler-Roslovic
Copp-Lowry-Little
Vesalainen-Perreault-Appleton
Bourque-Shore-Harkins

Morrissey-Hamonic
Heinola-Pionk
Beaulieu-Poolman
Samberg-Niku

Hellebuyck

I think heinola will push for a spot, but I doubt he gets one, just not ready yet. Same with Vesalainen, I really hope this full year in the AHL helps him so much. I think both will need a full year in the A next year. I don’t mind vesa taking till 21 to hit the NHL lineup.
