Buff returns and Little recovers

Description
I really like the idea of Little playing RW on the second or third line. He and Rosy can find the best fit.

With Buff in the line-up, other teams can't take liberties the way they have taken so far this season. No one wakes up and thinks, "Excellent, I get to play against Buff tonight".

There’s 0 chance Kuli goes back to 2LD imo, Sbisa has been better than him. Hell I’d slot in poolman at 2LD before kulikov. I like the look of the lines, only change I’d make is putting shore at 4c then Perreault at LW

Kulikov should be sent to the moose IMO, Allow some of these young kids have his spot as he is not part of the future and the jets play well without him.
Matty P, although he has C status and has played in the past if a winger. I honestly think the best version of the jets forwards has Little at 3C with Matty P and Copp and Lowry at 4C with a combo of Appleton, Bourque or SHore

I agree with all of this. Kulikov shouldn’t be using up a roster spot, he’ll easily clear waivers and we might as well just bury a bit of that salary. He also would provide some good veteran leadership in the AHL. I wouldn’t mind that bottom 6 you proposed.

I know it has been limited experiences but I have really liked the Copp-Lowry-Roslovic line when together. Granted that Detroit on Tuesday made everyone look great. Maybe Little returns to the second line but as RW with Ehlers and Wheeler???

We definitely have a cup contending team with Buff and Little back. I think the timeline for Buff would have him back around mid-march, which is 4 months after his surgery I believe. Give him 2 weeks of end of regular season games and he'll be back up to playoff Buff in no time.

Today, Maurice said Little doesn't have a timeline to return, there is still potential that he needs surgery. Hopefully he'd been ready around the deadline, but I don't think anyone knows at this point.

A darkhorse candidate for the defense could be Samberg. UMD's season should be ending in late March or early April, we could do what the Avs did with Makar and sign him and use him in the playoffs.

I could see that. I think Maurice will have the blender out and I dont think there's a bad option at the 2RW spot. Roslovic has been good there as well as with Lowry and Copp. Little and Wheeler have a history of great chemistry and Little can add a little more to the defensive side as well as FO
