5.5 for Kahun!!! It's not terrible imo, but it's way way more than he'll get after this year likely, Poulin I can almost guarantee won't be ready, Legare also likely won't, and he certainly won't be on the fourth line, Hornqvist is already barely a top 6 forward, no way he will in two years, Marino definitely will get more, JJ won't be in the NHL, Riikola and Almari will both be past him on the left side (likely Riikola as a 7D, Almari-Addison bottom pair Murray likely won't get that much, and the cap will obviously be quite a bit higher (90ish would be my guess)

All about perspectives. Djoo is better than JJ who is actually what you described. Losing Shultz would leave a gap in the bottom pairing that djoo could fill for cheap. Simon isn’t middle 6 either he’s 4th line. He would have trouble making the caps line up but would be a solid 10-13 forward.

I'd say the stats this year really don't show Djoo being better than JJ who is playing now is better than Djoo has ever played.

And it's not about a comparison of JJ and Djoo, it's a comparison between Simon and Djoo. And Simon is by far the better player. Even if he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the puck.

    Having said all that.
    I don't think Kahun gets 5.5
Nor do I think Murray is going to get 6.5 currently.
    Hörnqvist, will be traded.
The penguins WILL rush their young talent up to play.
And the cap is going to be a lot higher. That new TV contract will kick in. And the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ will flow.

We have d men better than JJ already, but management doesn't play them, and we also have tons of 7th d men already... And Simon has played a ton with Crosby, and was just top line with Guentzel and Rust yesterday...

Yeah...... top line doesn’t include Simon bc he’s good it’s bc they either need Sid to carry him or bc of injuries. His career high is 28 points playing with Crosby that’s terrible. You could take any AHL player leech him to Crosby and have the same stats. ..... what Dowd had 25? as a 4th line center.

Djoo advanced stats gave him already better then Pettersson who is loved in Pittsburgh

So some homework on him before just blindly giving an opinion

LMAO look at literally any other of Djoos' advanced stats, or ask @JayBeagleFanAccount a caps fan that knows way more about advanced stats than me, and if you're an "expert" in advanced stats, glance at Simon's, (and Dowd's) they're spectacular
