Montreal would probably want more for the Cap dump. Kinkaid is cheaper and probably better. Also gives Edmonton cap to make a TD trade

I believe that EDM will almost certainly miss the playoffs this season w/o addressing their goaltending situation. I'm not even suggesting Kinkaid is the solution, but Mike Smith is weak as **** and Koskinen cannot play 60+ games and be effective enough. I just watched Smith allow some terribly soft goals tonight vs. one of the weakest offensive teams in the league. His save % now sits around .890 despite playing behind a pretty solid defensive team.
