Another terrible return for Lehner. We can do A LOT better if the intent is to sell Lehner.

There are two teams that would be interested, Carolina and Edmonton. It's unlikely they go into a bidding war for a goalie rental. I'm sure the hawks could get more with an extension in place, but that's not the case in this scenario.

Well goalies don't grow on trees and especially starting goalies. Lehner is a significant upgrade in Carolina to both their goalies. If Carolina is going for a cup, then they would easily give up a 1st and 3rd. A goalie has more value on the ice then any other player with maybe the exception of a 1st line winger, center or #1 D guy. Go look at what Ben Bishop pulled in 2017 or Ryan Miller. Go look at what E Kane got; Lehner is worth a fair amount more then Kane.
