These trades are terrible for the SoCal teams.

Why would the Kings trade their goalie of the future, an inexpensive NHL-quality defenseman who has been good for us, and a character forward with two Stanley Cup rings for Andreas Johnsson, a future third-round pick (which might be above #75) and three guys who are virtually worthless to Los Angeles?

Why would the Ducks trade their two toughest players (both of whom have been effective in other ways, too) for UFA Cody Ceci, a good prospect and a former prospect they gave up on?
