Aside from the ARI and WPG trades, everyone declines. ARI might accept, but that WPG trade is something NYR is not doing.

Strome is not worth 1st.

TOR is not moving Nylander.

EDM is not taking Smith due to his longer negative value contract.

DAL is in no place to move picks, they're already lacking those after the Zuccarello trade.

I would certainly think about that Nylander trade.

The Rangers traded for Trouba and then signed him to a long-term deal. You think they'd give up on him and move him out after only a third of the season?!? He isn't James Neal, and Quinn isn't Peters.

If they're going to trade him. It kinda has to be this year because NMC kicks in July

The Trouba deal is a pretty cool idea, one of the more original ones here. The value is pretty good on both sides but the deal would never happen. The leafs are not even contemplating trading Nylander. And Trouba openly does not want to live in Canada (wife and dad stuff), so the leafs shouldn't trade for him. Cool thought though!

As a Leafs fan I don't want to make that trade but I probably do.

Doesn't matter though as Trouba apparently has zero interest in playing in Canada so it'll never happen
