It's a backup goalie lol. Most make 2-3 mill.

Average backup makes around $1.6. $2.3 would be the 6th highest paid backup in the league based on salaries this year. I'd be fine with re-signing him another year around $1.8-2, while I agree with you that 2.3 isn't a HUGE amount of money for a guy that can (when healthy and on his game) play as a #1.

Ya I see what you mean. Just a variance of a few hundred thousand. I just wouldn't want a guy like Dell as backup lol.
