That’s a big fat no. SJ and Anaheim will never be trade partners

Should San Jose continue to trade policy of trading possible futures for long term "aging" players. Where is going to be the cap to sign Lebanc and other next season.

Labanc isn’t going to command the high dollar everyone thought. He has 19 points and is a minus -18. SJ will have around 17 million this summer in cap space with the core locked up already and that’s with the current cap amount so things aren’t as dire for SJ as some previously thought. I would be more curious if Doug re-signed Kevin then the dollar amount. The oldest player in our top six is Logan Couture.

While we suck right now, Doug will have more cap flexibility this summer than he has had in 10 years as Sharks GM.

Travis Moen, Teemu Selanne and Nick Bonino would disagree. They’ve also traded picks multiple times. If the deal is right, it will happen.

Okay but Silfverberg is our scoring leader, we wouldn’t trade him for 4th liners

I agree. I like Silfverberg but the trade was not mine nor do I agree with it. This guy always makes super lopsided trades that massively benefit the Sharks and are terrible for the other side.
