Its draft pick he'll for the next three drafts but would the addition of Sami and Taylor be enough?

Just horrid for the Leafs. Get worse defensively, loose good picks and the future in Liljegren. No team would even half of that Jersey proposal.

Hmm. From what I can tell, it's plenty bad. The Leafs would sell out most of their top draft picks for three years, give a solid D prospect, take a bad back-up GK, take a defenseman that is not RD or tough in his own zone, and assuming they can re-sign Hall (a sizable if) further exacerbate their cap issues and roster gulf. It doesn't really solve any of their existing problems, and actually some of them worse.

Sami is a right handed D. Just New Jersey has so many he plays RHD.

Plus isn't Leafs all about offense? You had grit and toughness and you trades it for skill aka the Kadri Barrie trade

Isn't skill what the Leafs want aka the Kadri for Barrie trade

Also Sami is a right handed D

Sami fits the offensive mold. This team should be able to outscore their opponents. And Louis bit be good.. it worked in Tampa last year

Great trade for the Devils, lots of assets for a couple good rentals and they could easily flip Muzzin for a decent pick and could likely squeeze a late pick out of Ceci at the TDL.

Vatanen fits the mold of the type of D that Dubas wants and Hall is Hall, that's a pretty solid top 9, likely the best in the league.

Just an massive overpay for three expiring contracts. No team would offer nearly that much. Leafs get worse on defence with exchange of Muzzin and Ceci for Vatanen and Johnson.
Yea Dominique might help, so he might be worth second rounder. That means the Leafs would be paying 2 firsts and Liljegren for rental six goal scorer Hall. Absurd. Would your Oilers pay nearly that much?

I don't think Oilers would do anything with Sami. With the emergence of Bear the top 4 has worked out. Now that may change. A
But I think Bromberg and a 1st isn't a stretch for Hall.

You have to consider you are getting half the salary retained for both key guys. Sami is a good offensive guy who could be a late first or high second.

I think both players for what Dubus. has done in the past. I mean Alex P. Will cost significantly more and it's unlikely Leafs sign him anyway

Last time I heard, they want an RD that can actually play defense and a solid back-up.

My bad, I was thrown off by the depth chart above listing him as an LD.
