What why. That is the opposite of what we need, we need more forwards not to trade one for another. Id rather pay like a 4th or something

Well a fourth isn’t getting you much. Sorensen is having a down year. Sven is killing the AHL right now as he should be in the NHL. in a small amount of games last year he was pretty good.

He makes way too much for me to give up a guy like Sorenson, even if hes not playing the greatest, Sven isnt even in the NHL

I disagree. Sorensen is expendable for the right piece. If Sven gets back to 20 goal form playing with great players in the top six then it is worth it. Our offense is...not good. We can’t really afford a Hall or similar player so we try to make it work with lower level trades.

I think the Canucks would do this deal. Honestly, I think they would prefer the 4th round pick though.

Sure but SJ can’t do the deal without moving salary.

I understand that. As stated, I think the Canucks do the deal as is. I would prefer they give Baerschi another shot, but this is not an unreasonable deal. I also think SJ wins this deal.
