Honestly I don’t think it is, we get a top pair RHD that can be controlled as an RFA, Barrie is going to be a UFA and we are loosing him anyways. Johnston is a big solid winger who can play anywhere in the top 9. Greiss > hutch are both UFA and it makes the cap work Both ways and evens the trade up a little.

Nylander has more value than that package from Isles alone.

You undervalue Pulock. He's the leading D of a team that lets one of the smallest amount of goals in their own end. Also RHD is more valuable position than RW.

Personally I think NYI will be the one declining here. Without Pulock and Greiss, NYI would get significantly weaker defensively, which is not ideal when you consider Trotz's playing system...

Gee, I'd take Pulock over Nylander all day long. You know Nylander who plays top line minutes is on pace 55 points this year, Pulock 41 points. Isles are in nice spot now, they aren't trading three regulars for even a equal trade. And you trade then Hutch and Barrie in the deal. How could the Isles accept?
