If Arizona makes this trade this is one hell of an all-in move from them. They have no chance to re-sign Hall without moving out multiple pieces since they are likely to have less then 5mil cap room next year. Not sure they want to give up a ton of assets here. I know they want to go all in for the playoffs but they will probably have to try and convince Jersey to take salary back (for 2020-21). Not sure I see this being the wisest move.

New Jersey will have to retain salary for any team that acquired him except for Colorado, but they aren’t willing to top the offer that Arizona gave because that would mean giving up byram and that’s a No from them so this right now is the best offer for him, both guys are good, soderstrom being great and a conditional 2nd is a great addition for value purposes

After trading Oliver-Joseph, why would they trade Soderstrom? Makes no sense from an Arizona perspective
