Description

If Hall gets traded to FLA - Hoffman, who has played most minutes on 2 & 3 LW this year as well as PP becomes expendable. He's also a UFA next year. Matheson is rumoured going to NJD in the package so they will need a LD. Also Chiasson sheds some salary and fills a 3/4 RW FLA needs. Thats the Hoffman trade in a nutshell.

Then Holland calls OTT and aquires Pageau for Puljujarvi, Gagner (salary dump) and a 1st pick. Someone will pay a first to get Pageau.

Sign Vanek to a one year deal (history with Holland). Can't be worse than our wingers now! Scored 16 goals last year. Slow? Yes. But add Hoffman to Neal and Nygaard to Vanek and it evens out the lineup a bit. Hope and pray the D and G holds up (ughh)!

The Oilers need to win now! Must give up the future a bit to succeed! Anyways, just having some fun...

Even if FLA gets Hall, they won't move Hoffman. Acquiring Hall is an all-in move, he would be brought in to bolster the team, they wouldn't turn around and remove Hoffman from the mix, thus depleting their team
