Description

Jones realistically isn't going anywhere, but trading for a quality backup that could steal his job might light a fire under him. Georgiev does this perfectly, and he could be the goaltender of the future. Dell would then be sold off to the highest bidder, likely Toronto.

No and no. Dell has been pretty good his last few starts so not ready to give up on him yet. Not moving Merkley especially not with a 3rd for just Georgiev.

Gross deal. Not giving up Merkley anytime soon. With low value and Erik Karlsson potential its a bad idea to move him before he gets to the NHL.

Leblanc makes more sense for NYR. But both he and Merkley are too much unless you really think goaltending is the only thing holding you back.
