Well for starters you dont have enough cap space for Subban or Hall, and why would NYR trade Gorgiev

Because Shesterkin has been the heir apparent to Lundqvist for years now, tore up the KHL, is dominating in the AHL, so people think he's the future #1. A lot of people also think moving Lundqvist would be hard bc of his cap hit for the next 1.5 seasons, and it wouldn't be a fitting way to end his career, so Georgiev may be the odd man out unless we carry 3 goalies, which seems unlikely. Georgiev has potential, and people want to get value for that.

They could easily keep Georgiev or Shesterkin next year as a 3rd goalie then when Lundqvist's contract is up they have the best 1 2 duo in the league

I would say there is a better chance of moving Lundqvist, and trying to get him a cup after all these years. I would say Carolina (as one team just to name an example) would definitely trade for him.

Nobody says they're getting Hall aside from some hyper unrealistic armchair GM, same goes for Subban who most Leaf fans don't even want. Georgiev however is an option. Hank has another year on his contract with a full NMC and he's made it clear he's retiring in New York and they have their future goalie in Shesterkin who is currently in the AHL. He's said if he isn't on the NHL roster by next season he's going back to Russia. are the Rangers really going to risk losing one of the most promising goalie prospects in the NHL to keep Georgiev?

No, no its not, they could rotate 3 goalies. Theyd never have issues with rest, and by the end of the year maybe Lundqvist is already the odd man out

No to hall, no to Subban, signed by: 99.9% of leaf fans.

Georgiev I would take at a fair high market value price. But he certainly isn’t the only option.

Gosh how boring- to say they're not set up well to acquire/fit those players, or to constructively criticize where people may have mis-valued or misjudged if fine, but just relax.

I remember people being upset when I would mock the Leafs winning the Lottery and selecting Matthews "It'll never happen".

When I said Leafs would sign Tavares "it'll never happen"

Why not add a Hart Winner to the Leafs Team, or at least have fun pretending?

Thats just a long way of saying NYR is in a position of strength and will sell to the highest bidder, which Toronto is not going to be willing to pay

Hall....another over 10M ....we have to many of them already, none has passed 100 points yet....

Subban.....4,5M performance offensive D playing for 9M.......noone sane need this

Georgiev......for the stats hes bringing ( 58 GP.....2,91.....91,1% ) we already have Hutchinson and Kaskisuo ( also Sparks would manage that ), Andersen fell from 2,32 to 2,75 with TML brilliant defence since coming from ANA....imagine what that would do to Georgiev....so keep him

TL;DR : some NHL 2019 wannabes trying to bring in players that doesnt fit nor makes sense

Well if someone of your standings says they aren’t guess they’re not, just wondering what’s your position in the rangers and/or devils organizations that your privileged to such information ?

Leafs fans would be crying, not laughing if Hall and or Subban were acquired by the Leafs. Not necessary and really especially in Subban's case a disastrous cap for over 2 more years.
Forgot about being a Hart winner, good management trade for what the player Is currently and projected to be for the next six months.

Geogiev, yes the Rangers should be getting good offers from many teams for him, since the Rangers fans are so enanamoured with 8.5m Lundqvist.

I know there's a hate on for Subban right now but the reality is there was only 1 other team interested in Subban when Nashville moved him and that was T.O and they were only interested if Nashville retained, NJ called and said we'll take him no retention. Reality is if NJ truly wants to move on from Subban (and they absolutely should want to) T.O is probably one of the few teams interested - NJ would be retaining about 3 million and the most they could get back would be Ceci, Kapenen and 2021 2nd.

Maybe next year the Rangers carry the three goalies but just don't play Lundqvist. Not that Lundqvist isn't capable, but you're right, developing the other two guys.
