I don't think Armia will ever get a 1st -- more likely a prospect + 2nd/3rd or for a comparable top 9 player. I'd love to see him on the preds though - always thought a Jarnkrok - Sissons - Armia line would be solid

John Chayka: "Oh shoot we need cap space to get Hall! Hmm I'll accept the first trade someone offers me and even add a 2nd rounder for no reason because I'm sooooooo desperate and also don't want to try and find wiser ways of making space. I'll just make a rash decision right this instant in order to not have to think too hard. I bet that's what other Gm's would do with multi million dollar assets. I am so smart. I am so smart. S.M.R.T.!"

What would be your counter? I am not saying that would, but Armia is producing almost at a 30g pace this year.

No! This isn't a trade negotiation. We're not trying to find the right trade together to make it happen. You made the AGM, I critiqued, now either accept the critique and adjust accordingly or move on. I don't have to do jack squat.

..and judging from my critique you can already understand how far off that silly Raanta trade proposal is. Hence why I felt I needed to be a dick about it. If you are going to make dick'ish trade ideas, I'm going to give dick'ish, although accurate, critiques.

I doubt we'd have much interest in Armia. We'd rather give that ice time to Kyrou.

Panthers decline. No need for Tatar. Plus Tallon doesn’t trade 1st round picks.

Raanta isn't even their #1 goalie anymore and is making $4.25M this year and next. They are up against the Cap and are rumoured to be trying to get Hall. There has been trades involving Cap Space being moved that has costed that team. Lindgren, is no longer valued among Habs fans lately, but is still a viable cheap option that given an opportunity could still be a good backup. You are a dick, this trade idea didn't justify you being a dick. You don't like the idea, have some constructive criticism perhaps? Have a meaningful conversation? No, you're a dick, you are unable lift yourself to that kind of interaction.

So what?!?!? Just because a team needs cap space, doesn't mean they are going to blow some stranger in a dark alleyway just to get it........ Raanta is still a solid player. There are numerous teams who would love to get him. Not only did you assume he is a cap dump but you basically equated him to a terrible cap dump to boot by having ARI throw in a 2nd rounder only to get Lindgren in return...

Arret! This is terrible attempt a rebuttal. So what if i was being a dick? I'm not wrong. You have grossly exaggerated the need for ARI to have to shed salary here. Hence why I said what I said, which if you weren't so sensitive, you'd have taken as good natured ribbing which was all it was to begin with. That's why I ended it with a smiley. I wanted to show why what you proposed was silly without the generic "Yeah right, that'll never happen".....

we have to let armia play all the season 16-17minutes per game. time on power play etc. if he does 30 goal a years im sure a dg with a team who can consider the stalney cup will be ready to pay a first and maybe a conditional for the other year like if he scores 30 goal a 3nd. if he resign a 2nd. But, at his age with what he had done in past maybe a 2nd 2020, 2nd conditional and prospect B could be better
