These are so pointless, if they didn't trade for Kessel, would they have had the same results every year? Perhaps they would have been better and not had the opportunity to draft, Nylander, Marner and Matthews. One change and the whole future is altered.

you also wouldnt have freddy anderson or kapanen right now because they traded phil to the penguins for kapanen +, there was a conditional pick used to trade with the ducks that was pittsburghs pick (sam steel) for freddy.

And if they did draft Matthews while also having Seguin, I doubt they would've signed Tavares
