$6M for a 3rd pairing defenseman? I think there's better ways to spend that money.

* I don't think that Muzzin is a 3rd pairing guy obviously, but he's playing 3rd pairing on this roster.

No question someone is going to offer Hall more money and also from a better team. If his goal is to win the cup, he'll go elsewhere. If his goal is to get top dollar, he'll go somewhere else. Edmonton isn't and shouldn't be in the running for Hall.

i get where you're coming from, i just think that would be a valuable piece to have in the lineup, and despite him being on the third pair, id actually have him playing 3rd most mins behind klef and maybe nurse due to special teams and sheltering bouch and bear. i think muzzin is the second best dman on the roster tbh just dont want to split up bear and nurse in this scenario

Also Larsson is not in anyway worth a 1st rounder. He's really not that great of a player and never has been. He's a #4 defenceman on most teams and bottom pair on some teams.
