Taylor Hall is a Yote

Created by: eklund29
Team: 2019-20 Arizona Coyotes
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 16, 2019
Published: Dec. 16, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Kevin Bahl is a long Defenseman who has good presence on the ice and has great gap control, having him on your 2nd pair will create a hard game to play against. Ty Smith will run offense and defense on the 1st pair and then Bahl will shut down the offense on the second pair.
Nick Merkley is a skilled player who creates space, has a decent shot and reads the ice very well. He creates a lot of opportunity for every player on the ice.
Fischer is a strong forward. Similar to how Crouse plays, but with more offensive upside. Personally I think he needs a fresh start.
John will not trade a 2020 1st, as this draft is seemingly good comparative to others. giving up a 2021 pick would be more applicable in this case since Hall will most likely be a rental player.

This is pretty solid trade. Not sure where Merkley would fit in, but overall value-wise seems realistic.

(maybe Nate Schnarr in place of Merkley?)

If you don't have an extension in place, that's way too much.

Overall, solid predition, but I do think Shero demands the 2020 1st, and I think Chayka ends up giving it to him. I predicted Bahl, Fischer, the 2020 1st and the conditional pick upon re-sign about a week ago. This is pretty close to that.

Merkley has more upside than schnarr, but merkley. has a more likely chance with the Devils rather than the yotes.

Knowing John, I highly doubt it. Especially if you're getting Bahl, who has been getting high praise from almost anyone who has watched his play.

For a high end winger like Hall, no.

Sounds good - I don't know Merkley well - but a deal around Bahl/Fischer/1st sounds exactly what NJD is looking for.

This certainly seems like one of the more realistic trades I have seen here.

For an extened high end winger, okay maybe. For six months of one? Nah.

And it seems the Coyotes paid less than your proposal, so... yeah.

OK, so how about Merkley AND Schnarr...

This OP wins closest to actual trade

Well, looks like he ended up giving Bahl and the 2020 first. But it was a pretty close estimate.

yotes paid more than my proposal actual using a 1st in this years draft rather than next. also there was another condition which could possibly give NJ another first. In terms of a pure rental the yotes overpaid, if we extend Hall it would be a significant underpay.
