Well... the defence is weaker... and so’s the offence. Hope desmith and Andersen can get shutouts on 50 shot games....

Pittsburgh you could probably get DeSmith for a 4th

Buffalo laugh you away, they only just got him from Vegas and they're in a playoff place right now

Carolina reject. Barrie and Kapanen aren't worth Honka and a 1st alone, TvR for the 3rd is workable though

Anaheim don't need Ceci, but you could probably leave him in Ottawa after they ship out Boedker, JGP and everyone with any value

It goes back to the long standing CapFriendly rumour that ALL RHD in the NHL are better than the Leafs Dmen.
I'll take Barrie and Ceci for the rest of the year over Miller and TVR. Plus to lose Johnsson and Kapanenshakes head

The problem is that Miller now rarely plays due to the fact that we have a large overabundance of defenders and we need help forward, I would probably make this deal as a Buffalo fan.

Barrie has been the Leafs worse Dman this year, but again we get into the CapFriendly nonsense who look at past year point totals from previous years and make a determination of players current abilities.
Gee, I go back to last July and fans were saying how bad Ceci was a Leaf...and he hadn't even played a game.

Put Ceci and Barrie in here and try again

How is that defence weaker?

Miller and TvR are both better than Barrie and Ceci

OK well here goes

From 16-19:

GA/60:
Miller: 0.007
TvR: -0.026
Ceci: 0.131
Barrie: 0.111

xGA/60:
Miller: -0.163
TvR: -0.08
Ceci: 0.094
Barrie: 0.16

CA/60:
Miller: -3.37
TvR: -0.84
Ceci: 3.51
Barrie: 2.42

C+/-:
Miller: 6.2
TvR: 1.64
Ceci: -4.79
Barrie: -2.12

So there you go. Miller and TvR are infinitely better than Barrie and Ceci over a 3 year sample.

Not very worried about all the years they never even played with the leafs. Ceci is better than tvr and Barrie is better than miller. Especially in keefes system. Certainly looked much better than miller in last nights game....

So you're not worried about the years they didn't play for the Leafs because it doesn't fit your narrative. Makes sense.

And why would you make an evaluation on players based on one game? Are you that dense?

You basically fell face-first into the recency bias pit and you still haven't shown a thing to suggest that Ceci and Barrie are the better players (which they aren't).

Even just going by this year’s stats they are doing better. Much more so when you look over the last 12 games.

Anyone who thinks tvr is better than ceci and miller is better than Barrie does not watch or play hockey..,

Funny how it only fits your narrative when you add stats from better seasons..., hmmm

Can you read? Honest question. I get that you're old and probably have -6 brain cells, but come on.

I included data from 2016-2019 to avoid recency bias (which is what you're falling victim to right now). Not my problem that Barrie and Ceci were dogsh*t those years
