Barbashev is a gritty forward on a team friendly deal who loves to hit. That's a plus for the Leafs as they have zero of that now (plus he's young) the other players in the STL deal are future prospects and cap savings.

Asin Hill is a much better back up than Hutch.

Prout with his size and toughness is well worth a 5th.

Ceci isn't as bad.as everyone makes him out to be, but dealing him and a mid pick for a shutdown RHD Defenceman seems like a good idea to me.

Crouse is again a forward who likes.to hit. Come Playoff time this will be welcomed. Though perhaps more could have come back in a return from ARI.
