Keep in mind he was 24 or 25 and ****faced when he did it. He is almost 30 now. He is still married to the same wife and they have 2 girls. NHL has already investigated him to determined if anything has happened since and nothing has. He screwed up, learned from it, and now has an opportunity of a 2nd chance with the NHL. If I am General Manager in a playoff spot I look at it like this: If the NHL has decided he has earned his right to play in the NHL again and has paid his dues, then I ask myself this question: Can Slava Voynov help my team win? Your fkn A right he can. SIGNED. If many in the fanbase don't like it, they will get over it. Especially when they see him play. Voynov is doing very well in the KHL right now and already has 2 Stanley Cups, he knows what it takes to win.

also Professional Sports in general (nhl, nfl, mlb, nba) coaches and managers say this phrase all the time about certain players that mess up. If they really mean what they say about getting a 2nd chance, they should let those players have their 2nd chance instead of talking out of their a** all the time.
