Jets would offer brossoit at least 1.35 so you’re out priced in regards to him.

Why not just play Schmaltz at center and move Stephan to a team desperate for a 2C? I'm not an Arizona fan so I'm curious about how valuable Stephan is

Fat chance buffalo says no to a starting goalie and a top 6F for a first and a fourth, that’s a steal for the Sabres idc how well Ullmark has played he’s not a 50-60 game guy at all maybe 40-50 at most so having Raanta would help the team maybe without an extension just let him walk after next year but it’s beneficial and Fischer can help the sabres get some depth scoring and even play top 6 minutes if a guy got injured

Are you saying this because of what your team has or about the value of the trade. Buffalo could easily flip that package for more, that's a real lowball offer.
I do agree that you don't need any of those pieces on the team, especially long term with UPL. Raanta would be a nice add for the single year though if Hutton could be moved

Ullmark has stood on his head and they have UPL. Fischer is not a top 6 guy on Arizona nor Buffalo. Sabres easily keep their 1st

Why would they trade a first for a package that they then flip, for less than a first. They dont need either of those players, why waste a first like that

I stated that it's not realistic, an agreement to your point. However Raanta and Fischer's value is far greater than a first and fourth. If it made sense for Buffalo this would be a steal of a trade.

I dont really agree though thats why i asked. Goalies usually dont hold a high value, especially for teams that dont need one, and Fischer is just a depth player like Rodrigues. So they trade their first away, then immediately put Raanta back on the block, who would want him, that has cap space, and is willing to spend a first for him alone. Meanwhile, Buffalo is now well over the cap ceiling while trying to figure this out, which drives the value down (on all their player) because teams know they need to dump cap. Lets say they manage to get a 2nd for him, they turned a 1st into a 2nd and Fischer, who honestly would probably be a scratch for Buffalo currently, thats not good asset managment.

Hes a huge part of the leadership group in zona, will probably be resigned long-term for cheap to play 3C
