I can’t imagine a scenario where Price’s contract and term don’t immediately nullify any trade value he has. That contract probably won’t move from MTL.

Price is barley worth Grubauer if that. You either way overvalued Price or way undervalued the other assets. The only way this trade gets done is with Suzuki, Danault, Gally, Drouin, or Domi attached. Also your rebuild philosophy makes no sense because habs have a good team and are currently 4th in the division. EDM can't afford weber and the habs love Weber hence why he's their captain and been an absolutely beast for the team. Tatar has also been on fire this season.
