Awful lot to give up for a D with 18 points on the year .

he always will
i dont humor him unless he's willing to muster enough effort for a full sentence where he shares an opinion not an arrogant assumption of fact .
(3/10 he'll reply back with something to offer )

you and me dont often agree but we do debate and try offering an explanation or logic .
he does mean well though as you'll see when you comment on his post's he's capable of contributing more but chooses not to.

I usually just say one word because half of the time I say something, the person doesn't even respond. No point in wasting my time. Montreal has no interest in paying high for Dumba when he's had a horrible season. it's just not going to happen.

i respond to all my posts so this is a bit confusing :P
but moving on Dumba is doing bad you're right so it would be a hard sell from both GM's POV

i personally i think given the expansion draft's here i just call VAN about Benn who isnt having a lot of success in VAN . I'd rather trade them Kulak and maybe a conditional 7th for Benn as we know he can log 20 + minutes if needed but most importantly he can take on the Shot blocking role that was left vacant after he left . Low Risk as with the Expansion draft coming up going all in has a higher then usual cost if they lose as both MIN and CBJ learned in the VGK expansion

Not sure why we would want Benn. Montreal offered him the same money and he chose to go to Vancouver, if he doesn't want to play here, why let him off the hook. He can sit at home and watch Montreal play in the playoffs smile.

its about the easier way to plug a hole is by using the same player who plugged it before .
we're not that childish that we confuse Business with petty bias if we were we wouldnt have brought back Ryder after he went a won a cup with the Enemy

Benn over achieved and wanted term which MTL wasnt willing to give him but were willing to waste on Kulak so yeah i'd leave to given Kulak's a bust just like Reilly when we gave him term . Benn had a career year and MTL did to him like Radulov offering the same money but not the desired term

let's talk about the trade, 6 years of Theodore for Poehling and Ylonen is too much to give up Billy ?

yes it is

Romanov's almost here and better then Theodore overall IMO
Harris is in a similar position to Quinn Hughes last year in the context he's over achieving on a team with no direction which might see him turn from earlier then expected .

Most importantly last Expansion Draft there was so much D floating around before and after the draft that unless he's capable of 50+ points its not worth getting him as by proxy it means we'd have to protect him with Weber and Petry leaving Chariot and Mete exposed . Same trade next year and add a 2nd round pick sure but not this year

Petry is UFA doesnt need to be protect and we will expose Chiarot so Weber Theodore Mete expose Kulak Chiarot (1 year left) Juulsen Fleury

Wild probably except this offer though I think they would try to squeeze a draft pick out of this, but I would be ok with this return.

How did you get the trade to show up in this format?
