The Martin Jones deal is worse than Louis because of the term. It would probably take quite a bit to trade that off, especially if the sharks get a goalie of Markstroms caliber back

Jones is an excellent playoff goalie, after three straight losses to VGK last year he was excellent again, so don’t let those numbers fool you. Also Jones’ net problems are bad now but they’ve been exploited due to the Sharks terrible and inconsistent defense the last two years. Jones isn’t as bad as his numbers suggest.

We hope Nabokov can get him back to where he needs to be because Hedbergs message clearly got stale. Nabby was mentored by Warren Strelow (same goalie mentor for Brodeur and Kiprusoff) so I think some of that tutelage will rub off on Jones and it already has on Dell, who has been very good actually.

Markstrom is a UFA and Jones is still a playable player VS Eriksson being awful

Not a bad idea, I think the Canucks need a bit something better then Karlsson though, something else or maybe a pick added.

This would be an interesting trade to see how it worked out for both sides, SJ really needs to do something with their goaltending before this season is lost.
