Description

Mostly positive night as team played well.

BUT:

1. Vaz .. and his 75M new guaranteed money .. is worst goalie in NHL stats wise. He has to sit until January and try again then or could pass Lucic in contract.

2. Tampa is lowest team in NHL on scoring % for forwards. I LAUGH at the "modern stats" which are only on shots and "expected goals" .. how about real goals and the fact that some guys are scorers and some suck .. cue Tiny Tyler for missing open net game winner and Gourde and his 30M.

Rest of team wasn't bad .. as usual.
Joseph finally sent to Siberia .. next up should be .. need 3 or 4 new players through trades.

Looks like Yzerman got out at the right time. Tampa is still good and will likely finish second in the Atlantic. Tampa and the Rangers have a really interesting summer. Rangers to sign some RFAs and are still hampered by few contracts and lots of dead buyout money. Bolts, need to sign players but where to find cap when some the players you may want to trade have NTCs are realistically can block trades and some players may not be seen as living up to their long term deals so somewhat untradeable.

He actually was fast on the ice this time, like last year.... looks like we should do this more with players... they just kinda get comfy... and coast... after a while... punish them with SIBERIA! rock on

I mean if he wanted to go to hawaii to relax... he made the right choice... you only need to comeback 1 time/year for the draft... or maybe to be part of the lottery in person get lucky or not there hahaaa laugh

In my estimation he has 3-4 years basically nothing to do, except tell the team to TANK REALLY HARD. And makes some every day trades from the beach...
Fair to say for his long term stress: He made the right choice.
