They just changed it to Done on there records about 30 minutes ago. Thats a stupid rule

Bad luck, but the rule makes sense. Would be crazy if someone got hurt long term and kept it.

Yep, I head Eichel might have acutaly just been sick and tried t warm up and was struggling and then had issues in the locker room but idk im just a fan

I thought it was common knowledge that when you miss a game the streak is done. When I heard he was scratched, the first thing I thought was, 'damn, thats how it dies'

Streaks are cute, but mean nothing in the long run. Just get him to start a new streak

I understand the rule kind of but not really. I mean, what difference does it make if the player doesn't play consecutive games? This isn't an iron man streak, its a points streak. That means in consecutive games THAT THE PLAYER PLAYS, they are getting points. Point streaks carry over after the end of the season I believe, and that can be months in between games. As far as I'm concerned, Eichel has 17 straight under his belt and once he's back, we will see if he keeps it going. Just glad Jack is finally getting some recognition, he was always overshadowed by McDavid but finally is being regarded as one of the best in the league
