Team Explanation
Why, oh why in your infinite wisdom, Lou, would you call up Andrew-****ing-Ladd? He's not even playing that good in the AHL - he's putting up numbers that would be disappointing if he was up here in THE AHL, getting paid 5.5 for the next few years, and instead of saving as much money as possible and maybe calling up a player like Bardreau who actually deserves it, you call up LADD?!?!?!

Your thoughts.

It's Christmas. Time to reward a vet, however briefly. Maybe the idea is to bring him up so he can be put on waivers again.

I'd probably take half our AHL roster before Ladd

I for one look forward to see what he can still bring. Besides, he’s not playing today, perhaps it’s just in case of an additional injury

He can’t just look good, he better play like he’s worth his cap hit.

He won’t.

The sooner Ladd retires, the better. And calling him up is just encouraging him to see through his entire contract. Nobody but Ladd wants that.
