San Jose gets hosed on the first deal, Toronto in the second.

I think a deal with Toronto, something around Dillon for Kapanen is very possible. Both teams fill a need, Toronto clears cap space. If San Jose throws in the towel and Toronto decides to really go all in, I could see a Nylander-for-Burns swap.

Konecny on pace for a PPG season at age 22 and signed for the next 6 years at 5.5m. Trade doesn’t work cap wise. Nor should the Flyers do it.
