Description

Big name players need to be drafted to the Habs, or overpaid to play here. I think Bergevin is going to be in a hot seat and now that he's rebuilt the minor league cupboards, he's able to use that to do something big. Quiton Byfield is big. I think this is the kind of move Bergevin needs to do this summer to get this team a front line talent.

I have see some bad Vlasic trades but that one is just.........wow

In reality SJ will have to pay a team to take Vlasic off thier hands.

Yikes. Mortgaging your future in that Byfield trade. So then you have Price, Weber, Hall, and Vlasic sucking up enormous salary ($34M) for 6 years! You have no money to resign Poehling, Danault, Kotkaniemi, and eventually Suzuki. Those big contracts are going to be really tough to move.

Bad trades for MTL. But. NJD would definitely accept - they already have Hughes and Hischer so adding top 6 winger Drouin and stud prospect Caulfield + a 1st + everything else would be a win for them

1. Who's Quiton Byfield? Last I heard his name was Quinton
2. I hate that NJD trade it makes them better with Caufield and Hughes USDP chemistry
3. Vlasic contract length is like Price's, one that's not very much an overpay, but too long
4. Read #1-3 and see what you can change
