he's a solid #7 D in DAL and is 4th in Shots blocked and 7th in Hits on his team despite playing 20+ games less then every other top 10 Shot Blocker or Hitter .

Polak is like Emelin was for MTL
he's no good outside his established Hitting /Shot Blocking role
but in their role as a defensive D they both made names for themselves with multiple top 10 league finishes in hits or blocked shots over the years as a result .

if you're not giving up anything for him he's by proxy better Marincin if nothing else
