for some reason i think CHI will grab him and succeed with him just like they did Strome

They've got more to offer without giving up anything they plan on using .
Maybe this gives them a way out on Saad who since the Panarin trade has been a sore reminded of what CHI gave up as Saad fails to live up to his 6m dollar price tag yearly .

I think CHI gives a 2021 1st to move out Saad
Anderson playing opposite of Kane , Debrincat or Shaw will find success regardless of weak defensive play.

DET is a good option but you dont gamble 1st's and chance's are he'll get one from a team who has the major pieces to become a contender like CHI.
TBL is another team that might try to package a 1st with a high cap player who's under achieving bringing in Andersson knowing whether he plays with Point , Kucherov or Gourde he'll succeed .

i doubt any rebuilding teams will risk taking a player who doesnt show up to his team in protest to send a message to the GM in a political power play move . odds are to high he'll end up being unsatisfied with being a role player on a team that's bottom of the league for atleast 2 more years during their rebuild .

I have so many questions as to why you think the Blackhawks want to move on from Saad, and then even more questions as to why you think we would give up a first-round pick in 2021 to get rid of him.

Lets say just for a moment here that Saad was terrible, which he isnt, why would they give up a 1st round pick to get rid of a 1-year contract?

i might have been overly hard on Saad but after all the posts from your fans ****ing about him its hard not to mention it just because you feel its untrue . Not saying your wrong infact often you're the sane voice in the group of CHI fans but that doesnt negate the standard set by the many . Saads still got Value but on a Cap strapped team who core through 3 stanley cups is heavily aging they need to free up cap to bring in a UFA of value during a summer thats got more UFA's then i've seen since 2006 post lockout .

All that being said you said no to Strome i dont know how many times last year before the trade happened
you were wrong

it doesnt happen that often and when it does you adjust while move forward.
but its smart to remember Lias is in no worse a position then Dylan was on a team that didnt know how to use him
Strome went to CHI and had a career year .

Domi left ARZ and same thing
Duclair the same thing

Some teams just suck at developing their picks and few teams are as bad at developing their picks as NYR .
With Lias in CHI they save 5.3m in cap plus get a player who IMO will out produce Saad by the end of the season in the same situation skating along elite talent CHI has in its top 6 .

i could be wrong this time but it just seems to make sense as if Lias hits his full potential we're talking numbers Saad's never dreamed of

This is just so foreign to me... I have not seen these “Anti-Brandon Saad” Blackhawks fans anywhere on here or on twitter to be honest.

Realistically Perlini It really doesn't matter he is a depth player and it looks at this point like Anderson is in that same boat. Washington's 2020 2nd round pick is the deal breaker for me with Detroit still rebuilding they aren't trading that pick.

For me any pick in the top three rounds is a no go. On a rebuilding team, those are pretty much untouchable in my opinion. We traded this years 4th for Erne, so I would do the 2021 4th and Perlini for Andersson and 2020 5th or something like that. But I would honestly try to keep picks out of this if at all possible, strictly from a Detroit perspective.
