Rest of season

Created by: LetsTalkNHL
Team: 2019-20 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 23, 2019
Published: Dec. 23, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I think the Pens keep that GMR line together. I genuinely think a Galchenyuk trade may be the only one. Moving Bjugstad/Schultz is possible, but doubtful. Bjugs move would seem more likely in the summer.

I would do that in a heartbeat, but Ritchie is having a breakout year this year, he's been miles better than Galch, and the age/potential difference, I highly doubt ANA does that even as a 1 for 1

He is on pace for 30 points, which seems to be an average season for him. He is also on pace for 164 PIM, which isn't too ideal. I think Chucky could flourish with top 6 minutes. It could be another forward as well. I just think it makes sense; the Pens and Ducks have had multiple trades recently.

Yeah, most likely Habs thought this too when they drafted him, ARI thought this when they swapped Domi to him and Pens thought replacing Kessel with him.

Sadly it didn't work for basically any of them. And it's even more unlikely to work in a bottom-5 team in the league. I can't see ANA moving a decent player with term to an underwhelming UFA.
