First deal is okay but still bad for us.

Second deal is horrendous. Like I have no idea why we would ever consider that

Third is awful

Fourth is alright

Last is pretty bad

So overall no, these are not realistic and make us infact about 10x worse now and in the future

1st deal good for the Sharks

2nd good for both teams

3rd Awful for the Sharks

4th Toronto doesn’t have the capspace but fair

5th Winnipeg decline : Roslovic >> Dillon

I think the Florida deal is great. Borgstrom has a super high ceiling. Not ready this year but Sharks aint making the playoffs this year barring any miracles - We need futures.

It's never bad when you can get a very good young goalie, a top six winger, a B+ prospect with top six potential and a couple really decent picks.

Do you know who Borgstrom is? Go ahead, look him up and tell me you think thats a horrendous deal. I honestly don't think you've heard of Borgstrom cause if you had, you wouldn't say "horrendous"

Third deal isn't great ill admit.

Fourth deal is very fair to me.

Last deal is bad for Winnipeg.

P.S. Check out how GMs responded to my post. I really wish everyone here did that instead of just saying "bad" and "horrendous" and "no way". Put some thought into your comments otherwise you just come offf like a jerk. wink

As much as i want Meier i don’t feel the difference between him and Buchnevich are worth giving up four assets
Buchnevich have one less point in three games less played, only one year older and both are RFA when their deal is over (Meier currently more term, Buchnevich less AAV)
Buchnevich+Georgiev or Andersson, no more then that from my view

Meier is having a rough season due in part to everyone on the sharks having a bad year. The team can't score, and it makes sense when you lose Nyquist, Donskoi and Pavelski and don't replace them.

But yeah, I would accept Georgiev+Buchnevich and a 2020 3rd.

I don't, just a hunch, is San Jose trading Labanc for a UFA dman and a 4th liner?

Sorensen is a 3rd liner.

Who's producing at a 4th line rate.

Roslovic is playing in the Jets top 6, they're not trading him for that.

Sorensen has five less points lol. Their career totals are almost the same as well lol

Sorenson is 27, a career bottom 6 player and is a UFA in 2021.
Roslovic is 22, presently playing well in the top 6 and is under team control for at least another 4 seasons after this one.
There's no comparison as to which one has more value, no sane GM would trade Roslovic for Sorenson and a UFA dman.

Timo is struggling but not realizing that he has 40 goal potential and has a great all around game when he shows up is dumb. I like Buch but hes very Labanc esc in that he belongs on the third line on a good team, and as much as I like George, without getting rid of Jones we will be paying our goalies way too much in the future.

I know how Borgstroms been regarded but he has not at all lived up to it, and at the age of 22 you would like to see him showing some kind of progress in the NHL but instead you see he’s down in the A and not producing very well. Trading a forward who is in the NHL and has scored 50 points for a long shot just isn’t a smart idea for a good team unless we really believe in him and are commuting to a long term rebuild.
