1st+2nd and J. Oloffson for Dillon if he extends?? Why would the habs do that when they have Romanov, Harris, Struble, Norlinder and Fairbrother in their prospect pool... The Montreal Canadiens isn't in their winning window and you say without top Picksprospect but you're willing to give away 2020 3rd rounder and 2021 1st/2nd and a 2nd for players who won't make the habs a real threat so MB wouldnt do that... well I hope not.

Holy hell, I think you are overvaluing Dillon wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. This guy could be had for way less. Not sure what makes you feel they have to over pay to get him?

Montreal does not need cap space for anything.........they have over 7M of cap space.

You made it sound like it was not for that reason though but because "MTL will never trade a 3rd for wayne simmonds at five million dollars"...... either way, If the team was heading into the playoffs I would gladly take Simmonds over Weal and Cousins plus with injuries always a possibility, I'd rather have Simmonds than Barber for example......

Either way, my point wasn't that I want him, just that a 3rd for Simmonds is good value and our cap space situation can easily fit him in if we wanted him. That's not the problem. If you don't want him, that's just your opinion.
