Why should OTT deal Logan Brown though?

He needs a change in scenery... If CBJ wants a C prospect plus two high 2nd rd picks for let's say the 8th overall pick maybe the Sens can get Drysdale, Rossi and one of Byfield/Lafreniere (if things fall into place)

Well CBJ would most likely prefer one of those higher C prospects over Brown as well... This is why dealing with other rebuilding teams rarely works.

Ya, it probably doesn't work but it would be a shot in the dark

That’s a no from Columbus... top 10 pick is more valuable to us then Brown and 2 upper seconds unless our management knows of a 100% hidden gem that they think would fall that low and be the next Aho who went early in the 2nd round and looks pretty awesome.

The PK trade? I think PK is not better than Zaitsev right now. And PK has one of the worst contracts in the national hockey league. The Devis would accept the trade and would even drive PK to Ottawa.

Agreed. DeMelo doesn't give them anything they don't already have in Matt Benning, and JP + Gagner + 2021 1st is a LOT to give up for a Pageau rental.

CBJ Trade: Disgusting. Were not sending Brown + ~36th and ~39th OA for 8thOA

EDM: Not bad but not DeMelo. EDM doesnt need D, they need the best 3C (a la Pageau) and cheap responsible depth wingers. Ennis instead

NJ: Ya know, we need to make the cap somehow, and Subban is a great leader. Id be willing to give up bad Zaitsev and a 2nd. I dont know if they would take it though.

PIT: Love this trade, I think its asking a bit much. I think cant ask for the 2nd. JJ + 1st for Hainsey

PHI: I dont know anyone who is taking Boedker. I have stopped trying to trade him anywhere in my ACGMs lol

Logan Brown is 21. Give him some time to find his footing. Most players don't make an immediate impact when they enter the NHL. He's one of our best prospects and trading him would be a huge mistake, almost as big as trading Rask was for the Leafs.

Way too much to dump johnson who has been “ok” this season.

Pens say no. If they were gonna use a 1st to dump a player, they’d have done it by now

I want to add my voice to the chorus rejecting the Pittsburgh trade. Johnson is playing almost as well as Hainsey, so why would they pay a first and a second to get rid of him? His buyout next July, if necessary, will have minimal impact on the Penguins' financial picture.
