Careful with those 1st rounders. I know it's Christmas but don't let that egg nog go to your head.

Would you ever even consider trading your two best forwards in the same trade without getting one back... And without fixing the biggest need on the team, especially when high end forwards are your teams second biggest weakness

Futures like this are tough. I assume its 2 top 3 picks, anaheim has to assume that its- at worst, 2 20oa picks. Theres a huge difference in value obviously.

If I’m the Anaheim Ducks and I’m 2 years to late to a rebuild? Yeah, yeah I would haha

Even when both of them are under 25-26, on fantastic contracts, and you're getting an underwhelming return lmao, those picks are nice, but likely don't get us anything better than Lundestrom Comtois Steel Ritchie Terry, or even BOG Morand or Tracey depending on who we pick with them...

In case you weren’t aware, a forward peaks in his production in between 22 and 26. By the time the Steels and Comtois’ are good NHL players RR will be a UFA and Kase will be 28...

Steel Comtois etc are all NHL ready now, should be quality players next year or the year after, and forwards are still effective at a relatively high level (Kase and Rakell will still likely be better at 32 than Comtois Lundestrom etc will ever be) after they "peak" and plus they bring that veteran presence and a high level of skill while the kids come up
