is this team really in a position to trade first round picks? the forward group is aging and there's some really bad contracts like okposo that will dog the team for a while. i'd think you'd want to hang onto those and get another cost-controlled asset into the lineup

you're right, i was looking at the post-trade outlook. and after these trades you have seven forwards over 26, four of which are in your top-6. i guess this is ok if you think rakell is enough of a difference-maker to win a cup. i personally don't on this roster.
