make it a better draft pick and the kings trade make sense.

The Kings wouldn't trade Petersen, even if it was a 1st+Bracco. He is the goaltender of the future for the Kings.

What's your point? He played 4 years in the NCAA and is still waiver exempt. He is tearing up the AHL and was exceptional last season when he filled in while Quick and Campbell were both injured. He will be the goaltender they protect in the expansion draft and will be promoted to starter as early as next season.

The Kings will not be trading him.
