You’re right, they aren’t in cap trouble, but only iff they deal Kreider, Strome and either Georgiev/TDA.

No cap problems but you seem to weakened the team by trading Strome and Deangelo. Actually it might be right at the cap with 23 man roster and with bonuses paid.

Make the 2020 3rd SJ's, and we are not taking Smith. Plus I guarantee we are one of the teams on his no-trade list. The fans hated him here and he knew it. He wants to go to a team where the fans don't how bad he is yet, that way, he has a little time before he starts getting called out again. Just waive the guy, I've never thought he's been a true NHL player. He would be fine in the AHL.
