In general, only "depth" players get traded twice in the same season, and since Galchenyuk is a UFA and Nugent-Hopkins isn't, and Nugent-Hopkins > Galchenyuk, I doubt that Edmonton is going to give this idea much serious thought.

Trading RNH for a UFA and a couple meh picks is a terrible idea for the Oilers.

A good idea would be send a couple meh picks for Galchenyuk and play him with RNH.
