No thanks. Orlov is easily worth Domi. Guy is having a great year and he’s our 2nd best dman

Yikes take. Orlov is very good, probably worth a 1st+, but not Domi alone.

Top pairing LHD for a guy who is a #2 center or top 6 winger. I’d say that’s more than fair. Domi is a 50 point forward that had 1 good year at 70 points. He’s currently on pace for 55 points. Why trade our 2nd best dman for a 50-55 point player?

That’s like saying hey philly trade provorov for 2 okay prospects and 2 okay picks. Would you trade provorov 1 for 1 for Domi? Doubt it

Domi is younger, drives play well, and is solid as a two way guy as well. Orlov has been very good, but there is too much of an age disparity.

Possibly. Though if orlov ages like Carlson you are sitting in a gold mine. The guy is older and better than ever. Might get 100 points this year

Provorov is wayyyy better than Orlov

This offer isn’t good for WSH tho, they decline

But MTL wouldn’t do Mete for Orlov 1 for 1 due to is age

Orlov is a top3 dman, like Petry

For the prospects, Cole Caufield & Alexander Romanov are 90% sure to make the team. After Jesse Ylonen and Jordan Harris might have a shot. Jesse Ylonen is coming to NA and Harris might play another year in the NCAA.

1) provorov isn’t way better. I added a chart to help you from being so confused. Use it to educate yourself better smile

2) I agree

3) you’d be stupid not to again the chart shows he’s miles better. Age factored in example would be not trading Nolan Patrick for Crosby

4) depending on the team. On the habs he’s easily top 2

Provorov 22 years old 283 GP 119 career points. Orlov 28 years old 485 GP 170 career points. Don’t lie to yourself a smart Caps fan would take Provorov over Orlov any day. And it’s not saying Orlov is bad he’s good too. Provorov is just doing great things consistently at such a young age.

Orlov didn’t play in the nhl right away mainly bc of a wrist injury. I’m not saying I wouldn’t take provorov over orlov I’m simply saying that he isn’t way better. Orlov is one of those players that’s really good but since nobody knows him they assume he’s bad.

That dude compared him to mete. Like mete isn’t even better than seig.

Yeah. I agree. He would have way more points if he got more pp time. Either way he’s playing very well. I used provorov bc that guy was a philly fan. I just refuse to believe habs wouldn’t trade Mete for orlov. He’s just way better. Oh well that my opinion on that

Think it’s more so the state of MTL. Half their fan base wants to tank and rebuild, and another wants to win usually varies depending on how their week went lol.

Oh I agree. Most rebuild teams don’t have 10m $ goalie in his 30s. Who know what they’ll do. More than likely pay Domi 8million and hope for the best

Domi will get around 6.5M if he’s lucky

Hopefully. Seems like the current trend is to overpay players.
