I doubt Eichel wins the Hart if the Sabres miss the playoffs. I don't see the Islanders falling out of the playoffs. If Jarry becomes the starter he could be up for the Vezina, but I'm not too sure he'll keep it up and Murray might be the starter again soon. We'll see, though.

Here's 10 pretty basic predictions:

1. TOR finishes 2nd in the Atlantic.

2. Metro and Central both get 5 teams in the playoffs.

3. MacKinnon wins the Hart.

4. Three Canadian teams make the playoffs: TOR, WPG, and CGY.

5. Ovechkin scores 47G; Matthews wins the RR with 55G

6. PIT and WASH face off in the playoffs again; WASH wins.

7. Jack Hughes finishes with more goals and points than Kaapo Kakko, but Makar wins the Calder.

8. Neither Krug, Pietrangelo, or Barrie re-sign prior to July 1st.

9. Taylor Hall finishes with less than 20G and does not extend with ARI.

10. WASH wins the Stanley Cup; Carlson wins the Conn Smythe (and the Norris).

On points: 5, 8, 9, 10...
5. I think pastrnak might beat AM barring injuries to both players...
8. Highly agree.
9. no way, halls got 7 goals, you are going to tell me he wont get 13 playing on a significantly better team? if you said he wouldnt get 30 goals... ide agree. but i think he ends up around 24 or so and 70 points.
10. The thing that will affect the entire playoffs is where everyone is seeded. if you have a team like tampa as the 8 and washington as the 1, thats a scary first round matchup for washington. Or if toronto falls to the 8 seed they too could be a scary matchup for washington. have to watch out for a healthy pittsburgh team if they avoid more injuries as well.

yeah but so are the islanders... toronto is still in a point race the rest of the season with only really 1 or 2 games separating a playoff team and a non playoff team. metro is much deeper.

For all who are discussing Rodzik's predictions, it's called bias

As much as I appreciate it, I can't ignore all the Toronto based predictions here. Not that they aren't at least somewhat realistic, but if you're not a Leafs fan I doubt you make most of those predictions lol.

I agree the Isles will make it, but the fact that you (AndrewLadd) mentioned Toronto making it as bold confuses me ... Toronto making it isn't bold at all.

I just don’t like toronto... and sometimes in my predictions or whatever you wanna call it I let how much I like a team get in the way of where I think they will finish
