no point for Winnipeg to do this lol. With buff back and rehabbing we have no need for Ceci. Also Copp is one of our only PKers and he plays an essential role.

Seems to theme among some Leaf fans. Trade Ceci for nothing and not having a replacement solves the Leaf RHD problems.

Before the hiring of Keefe, Barrie might have been worse Leaf Dman. Somehow since July, Ceci has the whipping boy for Leafs fans. Since Keefe. Barrie has been good, Holl has been good and Ceci...even if was poor under Babcock is certainly OK now. I'm not a big fan of "numbering" defence pair. But if Dermot and Ceci are number 3....that seem quite acceptable right now.

Short answer: it doesn't. Yet there's constant ACGMs with Ceci being traded and the laugher here is that Ceci has not been any worse than any of the other Leafs D.

@SammyT_51 and @Trevorchef are just of the many regulars who love to trade Ceci but fail to realize that the Leafs are not getting better by trading him.
