Gudas is a nice fit here. Will be interesting to see his price tag. Think it will be too much for the Caps to bring him back.

Gudas is in no way a top pair defender. In a pinch he can be a decent 2nd pair guy but his spot is on the 3rd pair.

You dont want Howard, trust me. Plus the last place he would sign is Toronto. Its widely speculated that he wants to just lay low and spend time with his family, he will most likely retire after this year anyways. He does NOT want to jump into the piranha pit that is Toronto.

It's more fascination that all RHDs are so good the Leafs have to overpay. Three UFA, RHD Gudas gets 4m, Braun 2m and maybe the best one Holl gets 1m. Must say Gudas seem to have played well this season.

That’s my post first, and MTL add Brett Kulak playing top4 last season, does it means he’s a top4 dman ? No, just because they don’t have legit top4 dman. Toronto doesn’t have good RHD and Barrie might leave after this season

Gudas at 4 million is not the answer for anything other than bad ideas.
