Clearly makes LD weaker but Elhers is lighting it up this year so if it could be done Oilers should probably pull the trigger. Maybe Lagesson will get a shot.. would like to see what he can do at NHL level at some point this year.

Ehlers is the Jets best forward, this trade isn't happening.

I watched some Condors games last season and Lagesson looked really good, better then Bear in the games I saw.

In that case we will do Nurse for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th best forwards, any of them. Scheifele, Connor, Laine

Probably a fair trade value wise but can’t see it happening. Ehlers is on a steal of a contract and one of our best forwards. I’d love Nurse though. Think he would fit right in on the second line and bring some much needed physicality

If the trade was proposed in the offseason after the RFAs signed do the Jets pull the trigger?

Lol

Seriously though the Jets are thinner on forward then they are on defense, can't see them trading any of their top 6 forwards.

Yea, He was really solid in the preseason as well but doesn't say much. I like how he didn't seem to get rattled and had good puck moving ability

You mean after Connor and Laine signed?

I don't know but I was dead set against trading Ehlers, the kid is really really good and he committed to this small market team that very few want to play for, that means a lot and you don't just trade that away for help elsewhere. I'm not exaggerating when I say Ehlers is their best forward, he really is.

If Chevy trades Ehlers for anything less then a massive overpay he's a ****ing idiot and should be fired immediately, Nurse isn't an overpay.

Yeah can't base much if anything on preseason, hopefully he shows well. I really think the Oilers should be looking at moving a D or D prospect for a winger with some term if a trade like that is out there, no one from the Jets though.. Lol

Yea, was referring to this past summer. Anyways what happens to Little when he returns seems like Wheeler is the #2C now and what value do you think he holds with his contract and age?

I'm not sure, probably not much given his age and contract as you say but I'm a big Little fan so I really hope he can return from this and get back to the player he was and shut up all his effing naysayers!

If Little does return he likely goes to 3rd line RW and struggles cause Adam Lowry is the worst 3C in the league and it's a line where offense goes to die!
Ugh, it's so frustrating, so much depth and the opportunity to have an actual 3rd offensive line that'd still be defensively responsible but I just know that Maurice won't put Little or Copp at 3C, he'll leave Lowry there and the entire bottom 6 will struggle because of it. Who knows though maybe Little and Copp or Perreault could drag Lowry to respectability but I highly doubt it, there's also a chance he drops Roslovic down to the 3rd line and either puts Little on Wheeler's wing or makes Little 2C again and puts Wheeler on his wing, hope that he keeps Scheiffele and Wheeler separated whatever happens.

On a positive note it sounds like Little is skating again every other day so that's encouraging, hope the guy is alright regardless of if he ever plays again, he seems like a class act.

I would just offer sheet Nurse in the off season. I’d be comfortable giving up or 21’ 1st and 3rd for him long term.

Not sure the Jets could afford an offersheet on Nurse, CF showing 75M on the books already for next year with 17 players signed. Lets say offersheet must be decent overpay that's 7M+ range leaving jets with less then 2M to sign 5 players including Roslovic. 7M also makes it 1st, 2nd and 3rd picks

Was selfishly thinking he actually fits into what Edmonton needs currently maybe in the offseason for a bit of retained salary he could be had for a decent price grin

. . . .
Schiefele -41 points = Undisputed best
Laine- 37 points = Undisputed 2nd best
Connor - 35 points = Undisputed 3rd best
Wheeler- 31 points= Solid Veteran 5th best this year
Ehlers - 29 points = Undisputed 4th best

Watch the games, he's their best player, he also plays on the 2nd line unlike 3 of those guys and doesn't get 1st PP duty like those 4 guys you listed even though he should.

He seems to have confused Schiefele with Ehlers

dude , some one proves you wrong in context using example's
you act like a child in your response
your entire premise is based on you're the only person who watches hockey right
that's just bizarre

I gave legitimate context as to why Ehlers point totals are less then those 4 players but you say I'm acting like a child... Lol
From many of your comments I've read you're quite bizzare, have a good one!

Less minutes vs Less talented players , i heard your Galchenyuk explination
i know what Sheltered Minutes are and i dont give people extra credit for being unreliable vs Elite players

There's a saying my dad always said growing up
'' You don't know what you dont know , so dont argue with people who have no ability to check themselves . ''

Solid advice that hasnt steered me wrong .
Your comments speak for themselves i've got not reason to take a shot at them as you do it for me .

You're clearly delusional, maybe have a chat with your dad, hopefully it helps.
