Not sure why Kapanen and Virtanen are even in this deal. They basically cancel each other out.

Why not just Bracco and a 3rd? Would also need to take Ceci back

That's exactly why. For the cap to work out

kapanen signed longer term, but JV is cheaper. Canucks don't want ceci
